This little ‘Eden’ is not so isolated that one does not have a taste of the civilized world, as the property is also suitably close to a community of like-minded neighbors, with Hluhluwe not only the pineapple capital of South Africa but also a nifty town offering fuel, engineering and repair services, fuel, government services and general supplies. Hluhluwe, with its own local airfield, is base to thriving anti-poaching and game-capture operations. This community, which famously stood together to see off the attempt by a radical few, to loot in July 2021, is made up of a plethora of farming, forestry, commercial and private nature / tourism offerings, as well as a largely harmonious local community.
